The North
Geography: The soil had some variations with rocky and rich fertile rich soil from Pennsylvania to Iowa. There were many fast moving rivers and large forested area.
Economy: The economy of the North was based on manufacturing and business. There were factories using steam powered machines also they had free banks
Transportation: There were very developed due to the manufacturing and large populated cities that developed there. Economy: argicuturle. They depended on plantations and cash crops. cotton was a major chash crop at the time. other cash crops include: tobahycoo, rice, and grains.
